OCA started out of necessity in 1979, when Terry O’Connor, Sr., Sales Manager for Pan American Gyro Tex, was told by the owner, to shift all factory salespeople to manufacturer’s representatives – including himself. On January 1, 1979, Terry O’Connor Sales was created as a sole proprietorship.

In 1985, Terry O’Connor, Jr. joined Terry, Sr., and formed the partnership, O’Connor Sales & Marketing. Terry, Jr. brought a strategy to the company to expand product lines, territories, and target multiple channels within the building industry.

In 1991, Jennifer Allare was hired to develop OCA’s inside sales, marketing, and overall business operations.

In 1992, O’Connor Sales & Marketing officially became O’Connor & Associates, Ltd, better known as OCA.

Steve Lonsway joined our team in 1997, and 2 years later, Andy Hackerson was hired to expand the professional field sales team of our growing business.

OCA is now a national sales and marketing firm with a 16-member professional sales team, operating in 38 of the 50 United States.

OCA HOME NETWORK – FAMILY OF BRANDS

OCA HOME NETWORK, LLC established in 2003 as the holding company for O’Connor & Associates, Ltd and Laura O’Connor Design, LLC.

LAURA O’CONNOR DESIGN, LLC (also branded as LOCD Design Group) established in 1999, LOCD Design Group is a business-to-business interior design firm merchandising model homes and clubhouses for large, national builders and multi-family developers throughout the United States.
